either May or October with a new single coming in August.
But I am not prepared for the flopage if she release the album somewhere in mid june with AO2 as the current single.
Imagine the first week sales, 124k at best tbh. I'd have to DELETE my ATRL account.
I'm sure I'll still really love R8 when it's finally out.'I actually really enjoy AO2 & BBHMM. This era just hasn't grabbed my attention like her last ones did by this point, for obvious reasons. I'm hoping she surprises us soon, because I know she's more than capable of it. I really feel like she's saving the absolute best for the album release (see: Nicki Minaj TPP).
My only problem is that I think she's waiting too long to get things going. Even though the songs are good, album rollouts should never feel burned out before the album is even released - which is what R8 feels like right now, to me. All she has to do is reignite the flame right & then I think everything will be okay. Let her haters have a field day because they're all exaggerating beyond belief anyway.
Her seeming lack of engagement with the album rollout is also frustrating, but that's included within what I already said about the "waiting too long to get things going" point I made.
And any fans jumping ship right now are just cringeworthy. I think this era is boring, but by no means is this a disastrous flop era for her. I don't judge AO2's performance drop hardly since Tidal is literally a living grave for chart success. The other two have done what they were supposed to do.
Even if she was having a flop era, that's no good excuse to just leave. The album isn't even out yet. I can get if the album ended up being bad, but all indications point to the fact that R8 will end being one of her best albums when it's released in full.
The word "flop" is used way too loosely here; lol.

Yeah her lack of interest is the only problem tbh. If she'd actually promote her stuff right, this era would be fun.

Because of stuff like the thread and the things that went down with MikePerry (may he rest in peace). It is just getting annoying.
Is this jumping ship thing for real? Is the Navy really that pressed about where RIhanna is mentally/musically that they can't support her through a change in direction? No wonder people started using Rated R once they saw it having critical acclaim and not cuz they love the songs/album. Can't believe I ever wasted my time in getting to know some of the volatile stans.
