1) I fully expected someone to buy it. You guys will buy anything.
2) If no one had bought it, nothing would have changed, because I didn't mean for Tick Tock to begin on Thursday. My plan was for it to always be this Friday. I almost had some logistic issues, however, because I never heard back from the mods about something.
3) Tick, Tock doesn't necessarily have to be with 24 people. One season, it was with the top 18, I believe. And last season, it was the top 26, where 24 advanced and 2 were eliminated. It's just cooler to have the number 24 involved somehow.
