Storm, Angel and Psylocke were so underutilised I kept wondering why Apocalypse recruited them in the first place.
Nightcrawler and Quicksilver slayed though.
The film is quite long but none of the scenes stood out as unnecessary. But there were many lingering shots of Apocalypse mumbling and shuffling with his squad looking moody in the background, though. Less of that and more backstory >>>

I really liked the movie. It definitely deserves better reviews (the fact it's below X3 and the Wolverine is offensive). The whole cast were really fantastic!
horrible writing, before I saw the movie I thought it was going to be some mind control type of thing but she just joined him and then jumped the ship right before the end 
I noticed them too and couldn't take him seriously after that. Also, I feel like his 4 horsemen in the opening seem were so much more bad-ass than the ones in the final fight. I liked the film, but it needed some serious polishing!
