No, she would be saying bye to her whole career.

She would lose so much respect and backlash from the media. She could turn out like Lindsay Lohan and the kind of publicity she gets.

I don't think Demi went to a treatment center tbh. She might be taking an outpatient treatment and as part of that she has to take a break from twitter to stay away mainly from cyberbullies which she was trying to deal with. She's also taking a break to get some rest and prepare to shoot the music video.
