She could easily play stadiums, even in Europe, but she clearly stated she doesn't want to.
I don't want her to either. Stadium concerts are the pits unless you have tickets in the front rows.

I admire her for this. Stadium concerts are pointless if you're a pop artist. It's just a way for them to get easy money but most of the fans can't even enjoy the concert since there are way too many people. Her $200M-grossing arena tour stays unbothered.
She also wanted Uncle as a single and Birthday MV to be non-sexy. I fail to see why Katy wanting an arena-only tour is a good thing. She could have done a mix of arenas and stadiums, the majority of her "fans" are just casual GP listeners, if actual stans want to be up close they can go to the arena date, for the rest of the people just looking to have a fun weekend or whatever the stadium would be perfect.
I love her but you all give Katheryn too much credit. She's not above doing stadiums for more money with less effort, it was a poor decision.
