2016 just happens to be a competitive year in music. After the Prince, Bey, Drake trifecta, DW is still top 20 on iTunes, and top 15 on radio and Spotify.
It may seem low by ME standards, but DW is an RnB song sung by a female. Unless your Bey or Rih, no girl is smashing with an RnB song in 2016. The interest is clearly there for it to be doing this well and all she needs is a global appealing second single.
