I love the production on this. I think it's a perfect album opener.

2. Kill Em With Kindness 10/10
Love the whistles, my favorite part is the pre-chorus.

3. Hands To Myself 10/10
This song is absolutely amazing and so sexy. Definitely single material, I'm already imagining the video.

4. Same Old Love 7.5/10
I liked this more before hearing the album, now I'm kinda disappointed that this was chosen as a single.

5. Sober 10/10
The production is so good. I love how the lyrics are sad, but the song doesn't sound melancholy.

6. Good For You 10/10

7. Camouflage 7.5/10
I like that it's a piano ballad, but the lyrics are missing something. I do love her vocals on this.

8.Me & The Rhythm 9/10
Such a bop, maybe a little generic but still infectious.

9.Survivors 7/10
Probably my least favorite track along.

Reminds me of J Lo and the bridge is flawless.

Love the choir in the chorus, take me to church Selena!

This surprised me so much, I thought it was going to be an absolute mess from the title but what a bop.

Such a cute love song. "Nobody's gonna love me like you, nobody, nobody, nu-uh"

14. Perfect 10/10
Perfection! Deserved to be on the standard.

15. Outta My Hands (Loco) 8/10
So catchy, but I can see myself becoming annoyed by the screeching trumpets(?)

16. Cologne 7/10
Kinda basic tbh.

Average: 8.8
Overall Thoughts: The order is a mess and some deluxe tracks definitely deserved to be on the standard. I also feel like most of the songs were missing the flawless bridges that Selena usually delivers, but I love the Latin influences on this album and it's definitely her best.

I didn't either but apparently rap albums are huge sellers these days. Like I posted in the iTunes thread, it's not fair. First Lana being blocked by Drake, now Selena might be blocked. Next week Demi will be blocked by Pentatonix. They can't win.

I'm going to Target first thing in the morning to buy a copy of Revival though. the best thing we can hope for is a better sales week than Stars Dance and a long era, plus at least she already has a #1 album.

Just keep listening to it. It's very rare for a Max Martin track to not have you bopping after a few listens.
