January is the WORST month for sales. If I remember correctly, the last week in 2009, Susan Boyle sold like 300k & was #1. The next week (1st week of 2010) she dropped to like 160k & was #1.
So don't be suprised if after next week, Nicki only does like 50k.

Worse, it might even sell 30-40k and hover around the top 5. It's January. But with Moment 4 Life exploding, I hope she keeps a 70k pace after Christmas.
And I wouldn't count on the #1, Taylor and Susan will keep selling til March. It'd be lovely if she surprises us and takes it though, she would only be able to compete with them if M4L tops the Billboard Hot 100 - and I really want that to happen, such an amazing song.
