Smart thing to do in my opinion would be to perform Four Five Seconds and a new song. At least give another stellar vocal performance and promote the album while at it.

If the album is indeed coming by the end of May then I'm almost sure she'll perform a new song along with one of her current singles on SNL. It worked for her during the Unapologetic era when she premiered Stay to rave reviews. I think she's more interested in pushing the album than the singles this era and a new song would get her a lot of attention right before the album drops

She announced BBHMM one day later and released it the day after the announcement as we all know. So no, nothing happened on the 24th March but we got a brand new song in the same week and just 2 days after. The period of time counts.
