Lemme check out the Girls Day song since everyone is praising it

I got my life from AS their japanese album this morning. Every song is amazing. Such an underrated masterpiece. I hope we get an After School comeback this year (well we probably will)

It was lacking a few things on first listen for me but after a couple of listens, everything about the song sort of clicked into place. My favourite song of theirs.

I never really used Girls Day so I don't really know about their other songs I liked that one. "Darling" is a nice bop for the summer. The MV >>> I love the scene at the very beginning when that one girl jumps on the table

To be honest I don't see what's not public friend about Mr.Mr. That song probably has one of the catchiest chorus they've ever had imo. Everything else was a mess though, crappy MV due to lost data (when the original would have probably slayed), mini album accidently leaked on Itunes, meh choreography and I'm pretty sure the girls were so sick of it. They had to shoot the MV three freaking times. Such a shame, that song deserved so much better. This era was a MESS.

I am starting to think the mass mentality of "SNSD only release bad music" has gotten way out of hand. Like it's pretty much at the point where SNSD can't win because anything they release in korean will be deemed "underwhelming" due to pre-existing ideas of their material. I also agree that they could do better but their korean material (from IGAB onwards) is nowhere as bad as people make it out to be.

I'm the same way, I've never really been into Girl's Day. I hope they do well, but before "Darling", they never released something that captured me. I'm glad I finally found a GD song that I'm fond of.

To be honest I've been into K-pop since 2003 (thanks to BoA). At first I thought 'well it's probably just a phase, I'll be over it soon'. Here I am 10 years later attending Infinite's concert and screaming my lungs out for Sunggyu.

I'm jealous, I'm annoyed that I missed the "golden eras" of 2009 and 2011 in k-pop, I wish I was following it from 2003 onwards! I would have loved to see how everything evolved back then and be part of the hype for various big groups that were bigger then (like Super Junior... I feel like being part of their hype would have been fun). I also know that one day I'll miss the era and groups of 2013/2014 so I have to enjoy it now while I can.

I would be the same for Myungsoo.

Imagine if "All Night" and "Mr.Mr" were on the same mini.
It's the same method every time though: freak out during the teasers, build all the hype before the song release, and when the time comes everyone lets out a collective "...oh".

I'm 16 and I got into kpop on June 3rd 2011, 2 days after SNSD unleashed their iconic Japanese album

I went to Macau for a 4Minute/B2ST concert once but that's it i should take advantage of all the free HK concerts tbh

I only just realised the extra vocals in the final chorus of "Red Light" are the girls repeating the first verse again. It only took me 110+ listens to realise this.
