I don't think we'll ever be able to predict how commercially successful Ariana will be with each era. Look at YT where she had a triple platinum single and then 2 other singles that did not near the success of The Way but still helped push the album to Gold. Then, there is My Everything where no one was really anticipating anything from her and then Problem smashes, this is when she has all eyes on her and then she pulls a 2-3-4-5 punch with Break Free through One Last Time. I think people are here for her but she just needs to take a break and REST. That's all i want from her and I don't care about the success.

Honestly, Adele is not the reason she's flopping that bad. Look at Bieber's "Sorry", it hasn't outpeak Adele's Hello at all and is still doing absolutely amazing. Donut gate could be a reason, her diva like behaviour as well as that chorus.

No one cares about donut gate except her haters (who will return to stanning for her once she releases another smash single).

Some of you are treating Focus like it bombed. The song might be underperforming by Ariana's/My Everything era standards but it's nowhere near flopping. Let's calm down, wait for the first official numbers and do our job as fans meanwhile.
