It doesn't really make sense to use a picture of an artist when the EP has more than one artist on it.

I actually thought of that too I was gonna use Bonnie pictures but it wouldn't have made sense since I didn't use any of her songs. I think a cover art would be cute but I suck at graphics so

I just did a lil' somethin' somethin' and kept it cute this week.

Ugh the STRUGGLE of trying to come up with the perfect set of 5 songs when you're considering 6 options. The STRUGGLE of trying to decide on the perfect tracklist order for your songs. The STRUGGLE of trying decide if you should use the studio recording or a live / acoustic performance.

Thank the Lord I'm not a musician, I'd never release an album because I'd eternally be too consumed with trying to perfect the songs and the tracklist.

I hope this isn't going along with someone's entry, but I just wanted to ask a question that coincided with the challenge a little. Especially with Jake and Jezang's recent posts.

Say you've been signed to a major record label and had the rare opportunity to actually be heavily involved with the album, how would you have your debut sound be like to introduce yourself to the public?

For me, each of my album releases would be like peeling back layers to types of genre's I like. My first album though would be your usual mainstream pop record with some EDM and urban flavors.

My debut album would be a "real" music pop album (reference: Red, In The Lonely Hour) album focusing on the songwriting, revolving around themes of getting over my depression and coming out (which played a big part in getting over my depression).

I actually write songs, so I've got several written that would go on it.


But, like you Matty, my sound would change a bit with each album— change, but always stay pop (until the inevitable pure country release). I'd have to do a full on dance pop record at some point. I'm too gay not to.

I'd also record a Madonna covers album (and go all out with it, not some cheap sounding ****).

I'd definitely maintain pop music but I'd make it my goal to remove the stigma of pop music because its kind of all encompassing really.

I've already planned out the first three albums that I do. They'll all be different stylistically but there will be a natural flow to them so its not like i'm completely switching things up.

First album will be a dreamy R&B/folk thing, a bit of a weird concept but I feel like it could work really well - Beach House/Mariah Carey/The xx type album.

My debut album would be a House/Dance album and it'd be as gay as possible.

I'd have collabs with Kylie, Cher, Gaga and Madonna.

It'd be called: Rainbow Queens
