Generally positive reviews. A number of blogs have stressed that she went back on her word in a way, but otherwise it's been mostly praise.

The fact that Urban radio won't eat this up immediately will also hurt it in the long run since that's her most consistent market.

The song sounds like a crossover anthem. I see huge success for it.

If a song is good enough, it can smash regardless of the time of year. And besides that, I can easily imagine it sounding great on a hot summer day.
