Is there a way to play through Skyward Sword but like only the dungeons? Those were so fun but I really don't want to do the Skyloft parts

Ugh I was looking for Skyward Sword everywhere but I guess they don't sell them in stores anymore.

Cheapest I could find on amazon was $70 I want to try it so badly!

It has the best 3D Zelda dungeons definitely, but the whole thing is so devisive People loathe and despise it or worship it. I just think it's cute, the motion controls are ok but a little annoying. The Skyloft sections I hated, but other people love and the Silent Realms I loved but other people hate.

So it's definitely a game I'd recommend you try and form your own opinions about.

I like that its a bit more light and colourful, the art direction is very appealing and from what I've seen it looks enjoyable but I could see the motion controls being tiresome. It's the same thing with Twilight Princess for me, the dullness and darkness turned me away even though I know many people prefer that look. I also need to get a Wii U eventually (when it's cheaper ) and get Wind Waker.

But this LOZ talk reminded me that I need to finish my replay of Majora's Mask.

Skyward Sword is a really pretty game, the graphical style is really cute and it was a good idea for them to circumvent the Wii's graphical limitations. Twilight Princess is ok, its just so dark. Like not evil, just like lack of light. Sometimes I can't see what I'm doing and it's just annoying.

Some people hate the motion controls and think they're totally broken. Personally, I thought they were adequate but a little frustrating at times. They were a cute experiment.

I think I quit Skyward Sword after like the first dungeon. I think I plunged down and ended up in some valley then quit for some reason. 3D Zeldas are rly hit or miss for me

A. you lied, because the best 3DS game is obviously Trace Memory (which I just beat yesterday)
B. can you (or anyone) tell me more about why Tales of the Abyss is worth playing? I looooved Tales of Symphonia but have actually been avoiding most RPGs because I feel like they got kinda popular again and now all the stories are basically the same. Like, I can't even bother with Abyss if the story is ultimately a commentary on religion, one of the main characters has amnesia (), or the characters get help from an oracle living in the woods.

I liked the Skyloft sections a lot. I didn't hate the Silent Realms, BUT they did LEGIT scare me

The music The legit fear as your timer runs out and the metallic clanking gets louder The pandemonium when you're getting chased by 10 enemies and the music blasting in your ear

TotA is really cute. The story does kinda have like some religious commentary, but it isn't really that heavy. Probably around the same amount as Symphonia! Not nearly as good as Symphonia though, but not a lot of games are

You can get it for like $20-25 at this point and it's def. worth it at that price

Omg, you bringing back the PTSD-like memories for me I was so close to screaming and turning off my TV during those parts. And I thought Fatal Frame was bad

Noooo, not more religion! Esp. after I just beat Xenogears earlier this summer But I might look into it anyway. At least there's no amnesia I guess. I just beat Final Fantasy XIII a couple weeks ago and it's one of my all-time fave RPGs, so I feel like now I'll be really critical when the next RPG I play doesn't have as unique a story and as memorable characters.
