Less conventional. It's not a classic ballad or a true ballad at all. But it felt so finely tuned. The production was very crisp, like crystals shimmering down a cool waterfall.

I think her old hits can work well with a live band. I don't see it being very different sonically, except more organic. And then I'm sure she will do some piano versions, like "Bad Romance" that she recently turned into a piano ballad.
