DRjuss06's Weekly Top 25, Week of August 5th, 2013- August 11th, 2013
Miley Cyrus spends a 4th week on top becoming the longest-running weekly #1 since i turned the daily chart into a weekly one this year. The song passes Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors" who accumulated 3 weeks on top and One Republic's "Counting Stars." Mirrors is still the longest-running #1 of 2013 since the song spent 11 days on top on the daily chart for a total of 32 days, Miley could pass Mirrors next week.
Demi spends a 2nd week stuck at #2, decreasing in overall points while Cassadee Pope jumps 5-3 thanks to an increase in Airplay and by moving to #2 on Video Plays, Miley claims the #1 post. JayZ/JT drop 3-4 while Robin Thicke returns to the top 5 by jumping 12-5 thanks to all the performances of the song he gave this past week. The song peaked at #3 a couple of weeks ago.
Miguel jumps 16-10 with "Use Me," his first Top 10 solo and 2nd after his #1 with Mariah Carey. Cici & John Mayer continue to rise. Fantasia jumps 14-12 while Skylar Grey jumps 21-20, earning her first Top 20 as a solo artist, she previously hit #1 with "I Need A Doctor" with Eminem & Dr. Dre and #2 with "Coming Home" with Diddy-Dirty Money.

Cassadee Pope could be washing away that top 2 away. Damn Blurred lines hasn’t hit #1. I guess a #3 peak is fine enough. Same with Holy Grail. Glad that Counting Stars has been #1 before, like that John Mayer and Miguel song in the top 10. A #5 peak is fine with Same Love & Get Lucky. More songs to mention is Black Skinhead, Radioactive (sad that it was not #1, but oh well), Final Warning, and Beneath Your Beautiful. Good Chart this week.

Yea the peaks of some songs were affected by the conversion of my daily chart into a weekly one. Radioactive is a fine example, the song wouldve hit #1 on my daily chart but instead got stuck at #2 for 4 cobsecutive weeks. The song has more cummulative points than some of the #1s from this past year, thus its gonna be very high on the best of this year.

Midweek:
The next #1 is between:
-We Can't Stop by Miley Cyrus
-Wasting All These Tears by Cassadee Pope
-Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke, T.I. & Pharrell
-Holy Grail by JT/JayZ
Will Miley hold on to the top spot for a 5th week or will a new song rise to the top spot.
Check it out this weekend!!!

DRjuss06's Weekly Top 25, Week of August 12-August 18
Miley holds on to the top spot once again for a total of 5 consecutive weeks on top. WCS becomes only the 3rd song to hold on to the top spot on my weekly chart for at least 5 weeks. I started my countdown as a weekly chart that i then turned into a daily chart for almost 3 years. WCS follows both Telephone (6 weeks) and Alejandro (5 weeks) by Lady Gaga as the longest-running weekly #1s on my chart.
WCS also becomes the longest-running #1 of 2013 and the longest-running #1 since Rihanna's "Where Have You Been" which spent 46 days on top between 2011-2012. The song passes Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors" which spent a total of 32 days on top earlier this year between the daily and weekly chart.
Miley holds to the top spot thanks to its steady Airplay and Video Plays. The song moves 2-1 on Airplay, displacing JayZ from the top while also moving 2-1 on Video Plays, switching positions with Cassadee Pope, who jumps 3-2 on the overall chart, earning her first top 2.
At #3 is "Blurred Lines" which after going down the chart for a couple of weeks it returns to its peak position. At #4 is Demi Lovato who drops 2-4, however the song did not loose any points, its just that the previous 3 gained more. At #5 is Mr. JayZ who appears in the chart with only airplay points, the song is probably going to shoot to #1 once the video premieres.
King Mayer jumps 8-6 with "Wildfire," also with only Airplay points. At #7 is Miguel 10-7, Belinda drops 7-8 while One Republic continues their descend by dropping 6-9. At #10 is Fantasia who earns her first top 10, as well as her featured artists Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliot.
The big event of the week comes in at #25. With just a few hours of Airplay, Katy Perry's "Roar" debuts at #25 on my chart because of a #19 debut on Airplay. The song is the first single from Katy's new album "Prism." Katy holds the record for the most #1s from one album with the expanded edition of "Teenage Dream." The album yielded 8 #1s. As a standalone album, Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" holds the record with 7 #1s.
Longest-running #1s of 2013:
-We Cant Stop- Miley Cyrus (5 weeks/35 days)
-Mirrors- Justin Timberlake (3 weeks, 11 days/ 32 days)
-Counting Stars- One Republic (3 weeks/ 21 days)
-Stay- Rihanna feat. Mikky Ekko (17 days)
-Just Give Me A Reason- P!nk feat. Nate Ruess (15 days)
These were the #1s from my 2010 weekly chart and for the now revived 2013 chart.
