They actually gave it Spotify & VEVO treatment instead. It was also promoted by Spotify on "New music Monday" & other playlists.
It costs money to have your song on radio, on iTunes, on Spotify and to shoot a video (they even closed a live runway for the shoot), if they wasted the March Madness opportunity yet released AO as a single, they probably have a plan.
I mean it was probably all planned to release the song first on Tidal, then on iTunes. AO was meant to be a single for months, they could've cancelled its release and just leave it as a Tidal exclusive but they didn't, they didn't even try to avoid that "messy release" so I guess they have a plan.
