Yes, it underperformed in the US - even if we consider Britney was coming from a radio BAN at the time - but when you say a single that topped the worldwide chart for a month performed just like one that barely spent 1 week in the Top 3, people are gonna call you out on that.

Well, the fact that he had an actual job was a plus, since we could argue that she was dating a successful, intelligent man. Not to mention, he was getting HAWT around the time X-Factor started after he cut his hair and the like. And his body is on POINT after Britney got done with him. Like, what else could one want? He could help Britney with her business deals since he was an agent after all, and he seemed to genuinely care about her and, even though he was a bit overprotective, his intentions were wholesome.

I mean, she's seems happy with David so I'm not complaining but I just miss Jason!
