Antiphonies are generally used in rock songs, or pop songs with anthemic purposes. So the chorus is fine as it is. However, Beyoncé generally can not deliver a convincing or appealing anthem unless it's about girl power. It's not a coincidence that RTW, SL & Independant Women all feature call and response during their hooks.

Hmmm I'd say start chronologically from her debut (named Debut, funnily enough). Although you could get Volta out of the way first because it's her worst. Homogenic is her best!

she could've released 80 minutes of infected falsettos and Jay Z's moans and it would still have gotten a 80+ metacritic score. The reviews were all based on hype.
