I think if you have a membership in the official fandom, in the one where you kinda pay for being in it, you'll get better chances @ everything: fansigns, fanmeets, concerts, performance recordings, etc. Idk how it all works though.

Yeah you are right except for the fansign thing, for fansigns you just need luck and lots of money
For example some concerts open the ticket selling to fanclub members only at first, and in music shows the entrance is mainly if not only for fanclub members

To double back on the discussion from pages ago, I also barely see it for Big Bang pre-MADE. Them and SNSD... I feel like their level of popularity doesn't really match up to their performance ability, talent and music but I do respect them for sorta being 2 of the few pioneers that sorta built a bridge between k-pop and the western world. I enjoy GD and Taeyang together and as solo artists tho.

If you're not in SK for an extended period of time, then fanclub membership is useless since you're going to pay for things that you can't even use. There is not guarantee a fanclub is open for domestic fans much less international fans either anyway.
