Because its RCA and they only pay attention to certain artists. I'm surprised Usher hasn't signed to a different label, he usually doesn't deal with that ********.

yep, I also blame Usher too.

1. lackluster promotion, he was unwilling to promote his OWN music
2. lackluster music videos with little dance steps. I mean practically didn't dance this era and most of his fans adore his dance steps
3. looking unkept 90% of the time which kind of took away his sex symbol image (he practically forgot that he had female fans that are shallow)

I'm still not thrilled that he is releasing this when The Voice returns. He will have another excuse to not promote it by claiming that he is focusing on his team.

I wouldn't exactly believe what he said about Usher releasing during the Voice season. I guess it would go perfect because it would be near the 10 year Confessions anniversary. I'll wait to hear directly from Usher to see when he puts the new single.

I think he learned about the looking unkempt. He still has the clean shaven face, he just needs to cut THAT HAIR

he should better not disappoint next year, if he wants to be respected as an icon in the industry and among people.

I'm sure he'll not disappoint with the next era. To be honest, Usher doesn't need to proof himself but he'll do it just to show everyone again what a great artist he is. I think Usher and the whole team will give this time 100%.

I think he's already well respected. He's called a legend more often now, and people are realizing that he's genuinely talented, he isn't all hype. I don't even care if he flops next year just as long as the music is great and as long as he's putting actual effort into his performances. The thing I like about Usher is that he knows what he did wrong in his past eras and makes sure to not make the same mistake twice.

Usher never flops, only bad things which we can say about him is or better said "WAS" his promotion and planning but nothing more. His music always slays!
