Some synthesizers still accompany Gaga as she belts out the heartbreaking tune. "I need you than dope," she sings with a rawness in her voice. It's a less polished track from "ARTPOP," showing an unfiltered, honest and sensational Gaga grappling with past drug abuse issues.

The song was due to drop at midnight on Nov. 4, but it has arrived early, and boy, we’re glad it did, as it’s a dramatic, piano-driven power ballad, one with an incurable ache in its bones.
“I feel so low / From living high” is easily the best lyric of the song, and could go down as one of Gaga’s best … ever. It’s not easy to face reality or to do so with a clear eye and a clear head, but that’s what she’s doing with ‘Dope.’ The self-realization is set to a melancholic melody that almost hurts to listen to.
It’s confessional pop at its very best.

Formerly an ode to Gaga's "little monsters" uncharacteristically titled "I Wanna Be with You," the schmaltzy piano ballad has been transformed into a rue-soaked, electro-rock lament about substance abuse and lost love.
She could definitely focus on Japan, but Gaga's songs are heavy and not light-hearted like I see some of the acts these days use. Idk I feel like Katy would be more successful there.... Korea's market is not really that lucrative, their artists generally debut in Japan as well to try to profit more.
She shouldn't stop at Japan. She should go to China, go to the Voice of China and 300 million people would be looking at her (but please not with the Black R. Kelly) and then I would flood the Shops with Artpop for a reasonable price.
Hey you manager of Gaga do you read this, tell her but not with R. Kelly
