Guys, Lady gaga's conquest of Japan is kinda scary. She is literally EVERYWHERE, as if this album was JUST released.
1. I went into another record shop for a different CD. The bottom floor had a small table with BTW and headsets to listen to the album. Some teens were gathered there. A small TV played her BTW video repeatedly.
2. Second floor had a good 1/4 of the floor space dedicated to Lady Gaga. Big ass posters. All her albums. A bigger TV running the Judas video. T=shirts. A giant poster of the BTW single greets me as I arrive on that floor, in search of my CD. In passing, I saw Britney's a Britney album discounted to 1000 yen. I wonder if I should go pick that up?
3. The mall. One store blasting Government Hooker, the other "Hair," and another "Americano." The other two were playing Judas.
4. THE BASEBALL GAME LAST NIGHT - "Bad Kids" played (just the "I'm a bad kid" and on). It sounds good loud.
5. Bought an unrelated CD "Dj Kaori's Party Mix" and lo and behold, inside the booklet was an insert that Born This Way was NOW ON SALE
Is this promotion on her label's part or is Japan gaga for Gaga that bad?

By the way, I can't wait for Hair to be released and blasted in hair salons.
Maybe a little from Column A, a little from Column B. I don't think the label could pick which songs people are playing everywhere, though.
I can't wait to see her sales there this week. SMAPxSMAP had a big effect.
Ahhh Smapxsmap performance! That explains the Gaga mania here. I swear, it's like if she just released the album. It's gaga madness! Even I'm quite overwhelmed by all this.
As for the songs, I think the stores are just running the whole album. I don't know about the Baseball game.
