But you have to think about it.
The C-Squad wasn't comparing FFS and BBHMM to I Bet.
So AO is probably the only single that they can compare.

The fact that they compared Rihanna's lowest to Ciara's highest (which isn't very high) is embarrassing.
They have been waiting for years for Rihanna to have a single that sells as tragic as their faves.

Do a "*Insert album title here* Experience" like they did in Paris and maybe do it world wide or something? Or maybe in the UK, US, AUS/NZ or wherever else. Do some little cute IG/Twitter fan promo. Possibly do countdowns to something or unlocking stuff?

They need to bring the hype to the fans again imo.

)" for the officially announced/named album. Then the *insert album name here* era will begin. The album would be released later on and she'll never mention "R8" again (an album that never actually existed

, the R8 era could be dubbed more of a transitional phase right before we get to the actual *insert album name here* era

She can create a clean (slightly messy) slate this way. She can keep a few R8 tracks on there (FFS, BBHMM, Kiss It Better, Higher) Maybe also change a hair color to let us know forreal

The AO situation is 100% deserved and it's the first Rih single I'm not spending a cent on. Rih and her team need a massive wakeup call to get their heads out of their asses and flopping is what they deserve for handling this entire pre-era like fools.

I could look past the messiness and the floppage if the quality of music was there, but it's not. Not for what it should be. Nothing has been at the Rihanna standard I as a nearly decade long stan have come to expect. To start a huge long-awaited comeback era with 3 songs that aren't even amongst her Top 20, let alone 30 or 40 of all time is embarrassing. I've stanned for this bitch through every underperformance, controversy and scandal but because the music was always right. This ain't it.

I think Deemy's idea is the best so far......release the BBHMM video and if it goes viral and creates a lot of buzz and then ride that buzz but if it falls flat then let the singles die out, go on a couple months hiatus and come back in mid august and drop a new single that pop radio can get behind. Follow that up with the album name and cover and hopefully that'll be enough to start 'fresh'

In the meantime she needs to stay in the 'news' so she better show up to the MET Gala KILLIN every other bitch in sight. She's killed a lot of her own buzz, she needs to work on getting some of that hype back tbh
