Indestructible sounds nice. I don't understand why SNSD's Korean ballads are so tragic. Promise is one of their most generic and just boring songs ever. Glass Eye by TaeNy though is flawless
It sounds much better when you have one person singing the chorus as opposed to the whole group and it's probably why I can't really get into their recent ballads, sounds too much like a choir and I hate that. Star Star Star will remain their perfect ballad
Article: [Exclusive] KARA holds hands with Duble Sidekick 'official comeback in August'
Source: News 24 via Naver
1. [+1,085, -34] Duble Sidekick seems to be doing well, they're involved with everyone ㅋㅋㅋ
2. [+1,007, -202] Lip sync singers
3. [+792, -79] Girl's Day, KARA, SISTAR, SECRET, f(x), such girl group competition
4. [+907, -303] They worked hard to get up there, I hope they do as well as Rock U
5. [+240, -43] Hara and Gyuri, please take care of the new member... I feel like Seungyeon's going to purposely intimidate her.
5. [+184, -11] I don't feel bad for Youngji at all. She could've debuted with any other girl group and it wouldn't have mattered because there are too many other girl groups to count. She would've wasted her time being sent to shows like IAC. At least in KARA, even if the group gets hate in Korea, they're known and she can use the pitiful maknae image to her advantage. She also gets free Japanese money, I don't know why people feel bad for her;;;
6. [+179, -48] So they're throwing out Sweetune for Duble Sidekick? Duble Sidekick is under Girl's Day's agency... there's no way they'd give them a good song unless it's some B-side track like G.NA and Jiyeon.
7. [+155, -36] Hearing comebacks of older groups like Soshi, KARA, and 2NE1 is more welcoming to me than new girl group debuts. I could follow up to A Pink and anyone following is easy to forget.
8. [+116, -9] Duble Sidekick, are you guys some song factory?
KARA gains back some support
I thought that they would get T-ARAed

How are their digital sales though? Have they had a digital hit in this decade yet let alone the last?

But when those sales are split for two different groups, include Chinese sales for which one of the two groups is active in, appeal to the most rabid, profitable demographic of society and are from SM, a label which ensures each group release will sell 100k (with the exception of f(x)), are they that insane?

They're from a different time though. Clearly they were at their peak of popularity back when digital sales weren't even really a huge thing in K-pop (2006-8). I'm not embarrassed to admit that they aren't hugely successful with individual title tracks Their most successful song since they returned as a duo is still KYHD which was at roughly 1.3m at the end of 2011.
Not that that really matters to begin with though. I can't really think of many groups from their time that are even still together and actively promoting let alone still selling albums so consistently.

No sis, check the receipt again
"almost 400k" is for the Korean version only. The two versions comebined is currently at ~680k

Not TVXQ being such a massive force yet having absolutely no hits. Beyonce of K-Pop.

What are the Chinese sales then because from what I have read, EXO stans are under the impression that these amazing numbers are of Korean and Chinese sales of the two respective groups.
