Does anyone else wish they could play Sims 1 still? I had it on my Mac but back in '11 when there was an upgrade to Mountain Lion or whatever, it stopped working Something like Power PC apps wouldn't run anymore.
Okay I have a big question. I just got all my TS2 games in the mail and on the instructions for installing on W8, it says to install them in order. What does that mean? Does that mean I have to install them by their release date? I'm confused. What about the packages like Double Deluxe and University Collection? Help

Just try to install it in order as much as you can. It's not as damaging as installing TS3 out of order so I wouldn't sweat, just don't do like base game, Apartment Life, Nightlife, etc. No wacky orders.

Okay will do. What about stuff like University Collection, Pets Collection, and stuff like that, that came at the end of TS2's cycle?
am bout to have mental breakdown. in the instructions to install on windows 8 on mts, it says
"put the disk in your Computer but do not run autoplay immediately! Click with the left mouse button on your drive -> select "open" -> look for Autoplay -> click with your left mouse button on it -> select "Settings" -> click on "Compatibility" -> Select "Run in compatibility mode -> chose XP Service Pack 2 (this is ESSENTIAL! Do not choose XP SP 3 like recommended)"
what? I don't understand any of this. can someone translate. i don't see a settings on here at all

Same, I just thought the EPs were a new version of the base game, not an addition.
Below is the release order for The Sims 3 and its following expansions. You will need the most recently released title's disc in order to play. The games do not need to be installed in this order, it is simply the order they were released.
