2011 was a year where music was at a very high standard in the critics eyes (Born This Way, 21, Watch The Throne) so it was always going to be hard to get noms.
It was such a messy era and obviously compared to IASF it was an underperformance. I'm thankful that LOT began to take off in September and that was how she announced the pregnancy because Lord knows she would have been paid dust at the Grammys otherwise.
DFY was an instant Bey classic for me and is a staple of her discography. Schoolin' Life has grown on me in the past year and now I also appreciate it as one of the highlights of 4. I still think LUUM isn't great but hey, maybe it'll click with me soon (after 4 years)
I was close to putting IASF last but I felt bad and reconsidered because some of it is simply slayful. It does have her lowest lows though and I can't say I dislike anything on DIL but I can definitely say I dislike a handful of songs on IASF.
