I can't @ Mariah recording Christmas songs that are listenable at anytime of the year.

I love every song on TEOM. About Charmbracelet, I randomly came across this old quote from another forum that sums it up well, regardless of if you're a fan of the album or not. The thread was supposed to be about the hot 100 that week and Rihanna hitting #1 with S&M but somehow turned into Mariah being obsessed with the charts.

The whole project helped to clean her image up and set her up for the Emancipation comeback.

I wonder how things would be different in terms of the comeback if Charmbracelet didn't come before.

Charmy, or as I like to call it Chemo, is not the project that almost destroued her, it's glitter... GP has forgotten about Chemo two months after it was out... it's the fans who keep talking about it. tbh that album is just bad, she wispers, she sings only on BOTH, production is very dated, and it was obvious she/her team/whoever only wanted to produce quick hit/hip/up to date album, but failed...

Charmbracelet is a good album!! Stop coming for it. She sings on every single song, not just BOTH!! She let out her most personal feelings on that album, which made it even more listenable. It sold 5 million copies worldwide for pete's sake. Not many can do that!!

Yeah Charmbracelet really laid the ground work, especially with her more emotionally driven songs like TTR and MSG. IKWYK really did a lot of work in setting the scene for her Emancipation.

I like every song, some are definitely 10/10.

Her worst album is easily Snooze Box.
