Just googled that 'Hey Girl' commercial...who produced it? There's honestly something really disrespectful about taking a song about women resisting being pitted against one other and then splicing it in a commercial with lines like "oh yes we do!" proceeding "we don't need to keep on one-in' up another". Not to mention the eye rolls and 'blah blah blahs' as she sings "Just know that I got you!". Very tacky.
I just watched this again, I'm screaming One of her messiest performances for sure, simply because of her singing in 5 different keys in the pre choruses, and then in the one after the 2nd chorus singing different lyrics than him, at 3:27
I mean it's whatever, it's a commercial for a Bravo reality show. Doesn't really fit the song but oh well, I'm glad they wanted to use it!
And come on Gaga I need you back in Joanne mode The one comforting thing is the Super Bowl being months away, knowing that she'll be doing stuff for a while.
MVs are so important. She can basically put out 3-4 Music Videos without even releasing singles and they;ll promote the album better than whatever the **** she plans to do :[
I don't care about Gaga being on the radio (here in Holland).
They play shawn mendes songs 15 times during my worktime yet people still don't know who he is.
They haven't played a new Gaga tune since 2011 (heavily) and everybody still knows who Gaga is.
That's what's important.
If radio continues ignoring her and continues playing the like of Shawn Mendes soon enough a new generation of people will grow up as Little Mendesters and Gaga will cease to be relevant.
