You do not waste a major promotional performance on a song everyone already knows when you have a brand new single out from the same GH album.
If anything, Breakaway's sales will spike and the GH will remain unpurchased.
A medley would have been miles better than this.
CMB deserves a fair chance and singing it on a major event like this would obviously help it. What kind of logic is assuming that CMB will flop anyway so might as well dust the cobwebs off a song that was already successful and not even bother?
Has there even been promo for CMB in the UK? Or just those radio interviews mentioning the song?
