I think stans (of any artist) need to wait a little more time to say "My fave's last album is her best" because most of them are just too exited to hear the new music from their faves.
Some of them probably will change their minds in 6 months and rank this album lower than The Fame Monster.

6 months? It took the Navy two weeks to realize that Toss That Trash was that... trash. I do agree with you. Most stans are usually just excited for new music, but as time goes along, they really decide the quality and ranking of the album.

The only bit in Swine that annoys me is that prolonged weird build-up instrumental. I don't even know how to describe it. But whenever it plays I'm just waiting for it to stop

For real, BTW as an album is better than Artpop imo, but Sexxx Dreams might be her best song in her career and Gypsy is more relatable than any song on BTW.

Talking about Toss That Trash that album was the true definition of filler. I can't even remember any album track besides the singles.
She could have easily only used We Found Love and Where Have You Been and do a Loud re-release instead.
