Now that I think about, nobody ever talks about Daydream in here and it's supposed to be her best. Most talked about albums: Charmbracelet, Glitter, Memoirs, Butterfly, MIAM. Very interesting.

Daydream or Emancipation of Mimi to me is her magnum opus!

She had a lot of creative control over Daydream and she proved that she can demonstrate hip hop and her ideas into an album and made it into a masterpiece. The Emancipation of Mimi showed her full commitment to prove to everyone wrong that she is the sh** and she did wonders with that album!

I don't get how anyone can hate on THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI.

The album so amazing. It's exatcly the sound I would love her to do again now. Classic and timeless yet current and fresh (to this VERY DAY!). It has some of her best and most important songs on it, great and very organic collaborations and producers....

Yeah, it hasn't aged as well as her 90's albums or Glitter or Charm (yeah, I said it), but you named pretty much the worst songs. Half of the album is still great (Stay The Night, WBT, Get Your Number, Fly Like A Bird, Shake It Off, Joy Ride and Circles).

And damn at The Emancipation of Screami Yeah, she did a bit too much on some of the choruses, ngl
