I think, despite the many issues it had, there were elements of the MIAM era that showed that MC is still capable of having a hit record. I'm sure there was behind-the-scenes drama going on, but she did that cute radio tour for YME, released one of her best songs ever (#B), did morning shows, made a cohesive collection of personal songs, worked with new producers (Mike WiLL), got in shape for the era, etc. Then she did a pretty decent amount of promo for Infinity, released a lyric video!, etc. So as long as she doesn't release a bad video or have a tacky album cover or give up on promo or whatever, I think she can get another #1. It'll be hard with radio, but plenty of acts manage it if the other factors are there.

As for when fans can expect new songs, the superstar said she wants to take her time perfecting an album.
However, she teased, "You're going to be seeing at least another single soon."
#B could have come close to being the 19th #1 it if she didn't get injured and had an even bigger push tbh. I think that song is evidence she's more than capable of scoring another hit.

I think she knows she needs to do that. The thing is that she wants to make something new that sounds fresh, yet still resembles her own style and comfort in a song. She doesn't want to end up falling in the crowd.

She needs to make something like Diamonds or something, midtempo BUT fresh and modern. I'm sorry but SOME of her new songs sound dated.

YES! She needs a dam revolution to slay the charts. Get hip, cool, amazing, urban, and FRESH/MODERN producers and she will give us her biggest hit ever.
If she's releasing a single soon, then she need to make the video as early as possible and release it with the song to get those streams and have a "We Belong Together" type video.
