I still have faith in Mariah's record. Both of them actually.
Like I said, Rihanna is still behind Mariah's pace of #1s. Mariah had 14 #1s in 9 years. Rihanna got her 14th in her eleventh year now. If Rihanna gets a dry spell like Mariah did after Glitter, she'll still be behiind.
I'm still not counting out Mariah. All she needs is another Emancipation year comeback and she'll be set. I don't care if she just ties with the Beatles. It's still fine. Just two more #1s. I'm sure L.A. can do it agian.
AND, remember how everyone said Uptown Funk would beat her One Sweet Day record. God is always on Mariah's side (apparently so is Wiz Khalifa lol)
I was just thinking that when I die, I want the entire Daydream album to play at my funeral and Repass. Every song would fit, even Long Ago. I'm gonna put it in my will tbh.
I for sure think that Mariah can write another incredible song that will snatch double digit weeks at #1, and snatch record of the decade for the third decade in a row.
I dont think Mariah is ready yet tbh. When she is ready to slay, she will. These lil petty singles she's been releasing since #B is all to meet her technical responsibilities.
