Second, the last three albums, Rihanna got a number one song, and that was it. She's behind Mariah's pace of getting her #1s. And Mariah is the queen of the hot 100. They thought Uptown Funk would beat the 16 week record and it didn't. I don't think Rihanna's going to beat it, but I always get anxious whenever her songs get in the top 10.

well.. she got 2 #1's with Eminem, if work goes to #1, then she will have 2 #1's with Drake, then she has 1 #1 with Jay Z, 1 #1 with Britney, and 1 #1 with T.I...
People forget sometimes that Riri had a lot of help getting those #1's. I am counting the Brit remix bc the song when to #1 AFTER that remix was released...that's not comparable to Mariah's 90's remixes bc you already had them on the physical release/single from Day-1. (ie Fantasy, TGIFY ft. Nas).
So, MIMI only has 4 #1's with guest artists on them: IBT (global legend Trey Lorenz) and OSD (Boyz II Men, Heartbreaker ft. Jay Z), TGIFY ft. Joe & 98°)
in conclusion 50% of Rihanna's #1's feature somebody else, Mariah has 14 solo #1's.
