I don't get why Ariana is struggling with radio this era when Dangerous Woman and Into You have done well on iTunes, they've done well on Spotify, they both get a lot of radio requests, and Dangerous Woman did amazingly on pop callouts. I mean, radio finally started playing Dangerous Woman more after months and then it started dropping like a rock after it peaked. And now Into You is increasing so slowly. The Ariana radio ban is real.

I wouldn't say she's struggling with radio this era considering how well DW did and how good the IY updates started. It's mainly her labels fault for not pushing her more and waiting so long to send IY to radio. I feel like no one on her team has their priorities in order this era.

Ariana hasn't declined, the interest is clearly there, radio ate up DW and IY, and her album is selling well despite no promo in 2 months, her main issue this era is the lack of promotion compared to the My Everything era (one of the most promoted and hyped eras of all time) comparing the week by week sales DW is right on par with ME if you take into consideration the sales climate and the lack of promotion. I like how the era is going, I'd rather for her to have slow burners and sleeper hits than to have songs peak high during their first couple of weeks and fall down the charts weeks later.

I would never call Ariana lazy or not a hard worker, because I know she is. But I do think she kind of lacks that certain drive and hustler spirit.

I think ultimately she cares more about making music than being a pop star. Fair enough, I can't really blame the girls when she's been rich af since birth.

I couldn't agree more with with this post.

It's not a bad thing or her being lazy, it's just who she is and it definitely comes from her wealthy background.
Doesn't make her artistry any less than others tho.

People like Madonna, Rihanna and Nicki are known for their drive and hustle and grind at the start of their careers because they really needed it and it was everything to them. Even Ed Sheeran played in pubs every single night for a whole year so he could get noticed and still plays at most events nowadays. It's like if Ariana didn't have a successful career in music, it wouldn't be the be all and end all for her.
