Actually lets be 100% real for just a moment. Radio is one of the BIGGEST ways to promote a song. AAY was sent to Top 40 but just wasn't what pop was looking for. Sparks is good Top 40 material but wasn't even sent for adds on that format, instead it was sent to another format that has never played her more than a few dozen spins and really has no business on that format. The single is staying in the top 1000 on iTunes with this bare minimum airplay and no other promotion. It has had more longevity than Chasing The Sun and All About You put together and done pretty well in streaming. People ARE here for her, but if they aren't hearing the single on radio or she isn't promoting, then they don't know she's back.
Hilary's not stupid. She's not pushing the album much because she knows that at this moment she is very low priority on the label and they aren't putting any effort either.
(sans Sparks, One In A Million and My Kind cuz I've heard them).
I like One In A Million and Sparks! My Kind sounds too much like Can't Stop Dancing so that bugs me a bit. Thanks again!
