I hated Grown when the album was released. The humming was v annoying and made it unlistenable. However, since this song is right after Hair, I'd let it play through and it grew on me. The chorus slays (apart from the humming), they should definitely make more songs like this and Hair. This was gonna be higher but it's not as great as I thought it was before

For You is so underrated, it was the first song to leave in the album survivor. I liked this from the moment I heard the snippet the chorus hits so hard but the verses are kinda weak, I just love the production too much

4/5 Demi Lovato songs 2014: La Roux - Let Me Down Gently
This song could have slayed but a lot of things bring it down. I love the chorus right before the drop but 1. It sounds too much like Black Widow. 2. The verses are just ok. 3. Iggy's verse is horrible. Iggy should stop doing these random features, they're horrible (see All Hands On Deck), her solo stuff is much better. This was gonna be Top 40 but I switched it with Wildfire

I couldn't find a good picture from the photoshoot and now the graphic looks tragic I really like Demi, I don't understand all the hate she gets on here, it's not like her attitude is as bad as Azealia's or Nicki's. The problem with her is that she tries too hard to make these basic songs like the majority of her self titled album. She's much better on ballads but she's oversinging on the only two slow songs on Confident. However I think Cool For The Summer is one of the best songs of the year Confident (song) was a big disappointment for me, it grew on me a bit but it's not that good a song. She should definitely make songs like Wildfire more, the production of that song>>>. Waiting For You and Old Ways are trash. She oversings and the instrumental<<<. Stars' chorus is great but the verses ruin it. Stone Cold was great for a while but she oversings. The last chorus of Father is very sad and gives me chills but they way she suddenly screams It can give you a fright Ok that's it kids

I love both Demi songs, but For You is so good. The production It just feels like the whole song is going to lift off into space.

I don't think I've listened to a Demi album outside Confident so I don't know how it compares in her discography, but I agree she's kind of underrated. Glad that we agree that Old Ways is trash also (although it's fun trash)
