Yeah, but by Billboard's issue dates. The days the chart is published is dated 10 days ahead, or 2 Saturdays away. So as I stated,
Traveller was the last #1 of the Billboard year, the chart dated November 28, 2015 (final week of November by their issue dates).
It's done this way to ensure enough time to tabulate year-end data, and when that data is published the date will actually be dated December 26, even though we'll get them on the December 15th chart.
Estimates for this year:
01 - 4.81 - 1989 - Taylor Swift
02 - 2.47 - X - Ed Sheeran
03 - 2.20 - IN THE LONELY HOUR - Sam Smith
04 - 1.83 - IF YOU'RE READING THIS IT'S TOO LATE - Drake
05 - 1.57 - TITLE - Meghan Trainor
06 - 1.49 - V - Maroon 5
07 - 1.46 - THE PINKPRINT - Nicki Minaj
08 - 1.45 - 2014 FOREST HILLS DRIVE - J Cole
09 - 1.44 - 50 SHADES OF GREY - Soundtrack
10 - 1.39 - FOUR - One Direction

But Adele will/has win/won the Nielsen year.
