And they're 50%+ ahead of Bieber in overall sales in the US. US? Check. UK? Check. Japan? 1D are huge there, so that's probably a check too. That's the 3 biggest music markets on Earth. Poor Biebs
Maybe if 1D had used huge radio deals for Perfect, it would stabilize in the top 10, but they don't. They don't need big singles and deals to sell albums.

You swear you know everything before it happens, you aren't Miss.cleo. That percentage has mostly likely just gotten smaller day by day if you truly believe they're still leading by that much then you're clearly the only one mistaken here.
Radio is barely the reason for Justin's is positioning. In case you haven't noticed streaming has taken over, and he has also stabilized in sales. The 'deals'' only last for a short amount of time. He's just on top with all fronts hence the longevity.
I applaud your over confidence

The UK is 1D's biggest market and their homeland. Their last 2 albums opened with 237k and 140k. Believe opened with 38k. 1D were ahead all weekend in the States Literally from Friday until today.
Radio deals can last for a long time. Do you not remember that radio DJ exposing Katy and her label for forcing radio stations to play Dark Horse?

Because they released a promo single and as soon as they burnt out they fell right back under. He was also leading for quite awhile from the time period the original article was posted. They were only a couple positions higher also, lol?
And no, I don't? Nor do I care. You stay trying to discredit his success based on radio deals that you have no clue if they are still going on. I clearly stated that he's also high in streaming, and sales, so they all even each other. He isn't charting solely based on AI.

I see you abandoned the UK argument seeing as FOUR's debut week was almost 4x larger than Believe's
Maybe instead of 50% 1D are only head 45% now
Here you go. Most of the huge radio songs use this payola, especially ones that started out with massive radio deals like What Do You Mean and Sorry. http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=567729

I think 1D will do great the first weeks but Justin will pull through at the end with longevity.

The UK wasn't the only place you had listed, you are basically arguing with yourself because I never stated they wouldn't but I was pointing out your bull crap about them automatically debuting higher in other markets like ''Germany, etc'' likee.
...Why are you still going on and on about this radio payola as if he's the only one guilty of it? None of his hits are AI driven so your point you're trying to prove is automatically mute.
You try so hard

Airplay and radio deals obviously won't guarantee that a song sells (see Pretty Girls, Focus, Tori Kelly, etc.).
You have literally no grounds to claim Justin's team is using payola anyway. All we do know is that all of Justin's singles this era have stabilized at the top of charts and have sold and streamed incredibly well around the world.
And no one cares if a minority consisting of One Direction fans thinks that Justin's songs this era all sound the same. At this point it's evident that you will try your hardest to undermine Justin's success in any way possible anyway.

WDYM, a single that had 1 month of hype and a huge radio deal, has only sold 200k more than Drag Me Down, a surprise single dropped out of nowhere, in the US.
The songs are using the same formula from WAUN. It's not hard to see. It doesn't make them bad songs (I loved WDYM when it first dropped and really like I'll Show You), but to say they're all different and don't have a lot of similarities is ludicrous.

So? Just because it has 4/5 stars doesn't mean that everyone will think that MITAM is a better album. It's called having an opinion boo.

There's still no receipts to ''Drag Me Down'' selling 800k outside of the chart thread on ATRL in which the numbers are based on US estimates.
It's no where near those numbers with the tragic run it had on the charts.

Well duh. MITAM probably won't have any other singles, no tour, no promo after the first few weeks etc. while Purpose will have 4-5 singles, multiple videos, a tour, etc.
