Love Drunk is such a grower, first when this boys became famous I was like "Who cares about them?" then they released this song and I liked it but not that much, as the time passed I liked it more and more, until I got their whole album, which I still think is one of the best released this year. So for this reason and more to come, Boys Like Girls deserved this spot. |

I just couldnt get enough of Kelly this year. When this single leaked I immediatly loved it, I was almost praying for this song to not flop like all the singles from My December, but she totally overcame and reinvented herself and got number one which I was totally happy about, the music video could have been at least 10 times better, but well... past is the past and here it is. |

Rihanna just came back this year, and I'm still shocked cause she (or someone) chose this song as her comeback single after the fire from the GGGB era, as I expected this song underperformed and a lot of people might find it funny, but this song remains as one of my favorites and since I'm a ballad lover I can see its true value |

Even I am surprised to see Pussycat Dolls made my top 15!  Maybe because I didnt expect them to finally release a good single after all the overated generic crap they released before, Jai-Ho is funny, catchy and very well produced, I also liked the chorus and the choreography they did in the music video. Another artist I'm very very surprised to see this high in my own countdown, I really never cared about Jay-Z's music basically cause I hate his genre and the artists that play on that side, but well when this song was played live at the VMAs I really felt it instantly. Alicia's voice in the chorus fits perfectly and I really loved the tribute to that amazing city I dream so bad to visit one day. |

And here comes the breakthrough band of the year, seriously these guys released the best rock album of the year for me and this single has to be one of the best tracks out of it, Gives You Hell is catchy, it always cheers me up, and well since I'm such a downer you might guess its always necessary, the music video is also one of the best of the year <3 |

You guys really tought Happy was Leona's last song in my countdown? Of course no cause this masterpiece of a song has to be mentioned here, Run starts quiet and peaceful but then it becomes a showdown of Leona's huge vocal talent and the feeling you get while listening to the lyrics just makes me wanna cry. Definitely one of the best ballads of the whole year. |

It still hurts my heart to leave this masterpiece out of my top 10  it was actually my number one in my mid year top 50, but the main reason it has to be here this low is cause I got a new rule this year of no more than one song per artist inside my top 10, well I just can't describe the epicness of this song and how much it means to me, for me it is by far the ballad of the year and the one that made me a true fan of Taylor Swift. |
