02. Taylor Swift - Fearless
I know activebeast will definitely enjoy on this update as Taylor Swift places 2nd with her multi-platinum hit album Fearless. If you could think of a female artist that is sure to have a great 2009, then she is probably the name you could think of. Now I realize why Taylor Swift's album for Fearless is a big hit late last year. After finally getting a copy of that record this year, I get to listen to the whole album over and over again. The smash hit single
Love Story is the standout track for this album, it was only recognized this year and boy it turns out to be the song of the year.
White Horse, which is the exact opposite of Love Story, is another hit on this album. Taylor puts so much emotions on this track letting all the loneliness run throughout the lyrics.
You Belong With Me is another smash hit here in the Philippines, it is a typical song about a good girl who is secretly in love with this hot guy who has a mean and popular cheerleader girlfriend.
Hey Stephen is another standout track here. It talks about Taylor's admiration on a boy named Stephen. This could also be a hit if she decides to release this as a single. Personal songs like
Fifteen and
The Best Day talks about her life when she is still a little girl and during her early teenage life. Fearless got re-released with the Platinum edition and it included the tracks like the piano version of
Forever & Always,
Untouchable,
Superstar and my favorite
Jump Then Fall. Describing the album as a whole, Fearless is all about Taylor Swift's experience about her life, love, friendship and admiration. At a young age, I am very impressed that she has wrote all these amazing songs on the album. I absolutely become a fan of her, she's young, beautiful, charming and talented. I will definitely look forward for what she has in store for next year.
