Do Teenage Dream's sales actually include TD:TCC? Regardless, Loud was Rihanna's 5th album, TD was Katy's second. Both are impressive sales though.

Yep.
Artists tend to decline album to album, not grow . Also Katy had a career before "One of the Boys", so it isnt her second album
Edit. Why facts are reported

Katy Perry's second album is Teenage Dream whether you like it or not. Just deal with it.

As before, it's important to note MediaTraffic is one messy guy and that's it. They are good for a general ballpark, not for specific number.
Besides, they gave us the Loud number as 6.2m a few months ago Which sounds more accurate honestly.

You can't use their numbers when it suits you and your faves and then turn around and discredit them when it doesn't. That's not how it works.
Up until this point MT was the end all be all, with their charts and point system (how damn stupid is that) and now it's "just one guy".
The music industry to focus on actually making an official WW tracking chart, that every country sends their sales to.

I never implied they stopped selling. But its catalogue sales won't magically add 4/5 million so it can reach your unrealistic 5/6 million figure, that doesn't even happen with English albums, let alone one in Spanish. It has 370K certified in two of the top 3 latin music markets, are you seriously implying it sold 2.6 million in the rest of the latin markets which combined don't even add up to 15% of the top 3 (Mexico, Brazil & Argentina) market share? Never change Shakira stans, NEVER CHANGE.

I'm simply stating facts, backed up by official sources and preventing posters from falling for Shakira stans lies, if that's "hating" for you, that's cool. I give no ****s about your opinion tbh and involving Aguilera won't change Shakira's sales, not to mention it's such a cheap and desperate move but do you.

LOUD's certified units stand at ~5.68 million, while TD's stand at ~5.64 million. If anything, LOUD is close to 6.5 million as well since it stayed inside the charts for a long time and had multiple re-entries, specially in Europe where it received 3x platinum award back in 2011.

Teenage Dream had double the re-entries and actually has longevity.
Loud has bad catalog sales.

Perry did a Christian album several years prior to One Of The Boys, so U-Mich is correct in saying Prism is her fourth CD.

KATY PERRY SAID HERSELF PRISM IS HER THIRD ALBUM. If she said that who are you to say anything? Now get you ass off this thread cause you're cleary here to cause confusion.
