I'm here for a Leeza win too. But, considering that may be pushing it, I'm just here for a male/female or a female/female final two. If it's two men in the final AGAIN, I'm gonna flip a ****.

Kate actually deserved the firing though. She's been the weakest member of their team for a while now, and she was the one responsible for the set not looking luxurious enough.

So glad kenyas punk ass is out of the show. Loved the way vivica read her ass in the board room. It was looking promising that vivica was gonna leave since she came out real ghetto and insulted kenya and making kenya scared but it all backfired at kenya instead and it was embarrassing seeing her get dragged by vivica, geraldo and even the trumps Vivica proved that at times even in the business you have to get real ghetto to put a snake in place.

Its not entirely confirmed but most likely she did although I dont think kenya would have had the courage to admit it in the board room since not only the trumps would have fired her earlier but vivica probably would have lost character and snatch her and they both would have gone home.

I am beyond disappointed in Kenya. Vivica looked on track to go home, and then that happened. She is whack for that, and the way she grinned in the boardroom when they asked her if she took it. Just vile.

The boardroom in that second episode is one of the ridiculous things I've ever seen.
My only conclusion is that NBC REALLLLY didn't want to do one more season of Celebrity Apprentice -- evidence: two episodes a night when they used to give one episode two hours -- and they told Donald to hurry it up.
Team Infinity loses one task of the past 6 and he fires the entire team? The jingle wasn't good, but it was original. It wasn't bad enough to fire every single person on the dang team.

To be fair, though, who really did out of that bunch that was still there?? Brandi and Johnny were okay but not top 3 material, and Ian was just delusional (a far cry from how he started). Most of the promising people (Nick Jonas, Lorenzo Lamas) just got fired too soon.

I was shocked that he did that. Normally Trump keeps a final 4 who do interviews with (some of) the former Apprentices and then picks the final 2, so I figured he'd fire two people from Infinity and have the final 4...
I'm not sure what the motivation was, though... Considering that this was taped way back in early 2014, I don't know Trump new he'd have to rush the season. Plus, if NBC had wanted him to hustle, then why allow a 'best-of' show next week?? Something's odd about this.

It's clear from how NBC decided to air CA that they were not eager about it. It's easy to trace the lack of eagerness to the beginning of the taping of the season, especially when you have something like this to add to the evidence. This being unnecessarily firing an entire winning team on one episode. The best of show is explained by CA getting good ratings despite NBC acting to "get it over with" - two episodes a night, moving it to a new night, etc

Lorenzo? Everybody on Team Infinity easily deserved Top 4. None of them were weak. Geraldo was responsible for most of Vortex's losses. Vivica is useless.

What a crazy ass episode.
First, Kenya. Her demise was definitely playing too dirty (and getting caught for it), but the woman did her thing. I'm certainly not about to be mad at her for giving us one of the best boardrooms we've seen in a long time. We'll probably never know for sure if she's responsible for the tweet, but it sure seems like she did it. Way to go out with a bang, though.
The second hour was bizarre and maybe even more of a hot mess than the first. I'm glad queen Leeza was able to triumph over everything and pacify Geraldo, propelling herself towards another victory. But that boardroom? Something fishy was going on. Firstly, I was actually pleased by the quick Ian firing. Dude was delusional and dug himself a real hole. Trump was right to bury him in it. But why did there need to be a SECOND and a THIRD firing? Like, the team clearly lost but their jingle wasn't catastrophically bad. Brandi was getting to be weak and never contributed much, but why did Johnny get fired? Without him, their team would've had no jingle! What about that?
Trump's always been one to play favorites, but I've never seen a season rigged quite like this one. There's not really any way Trump could have known that NBC wanted him to be done with this season this quickly at the time of filming, as far as I know. I mean, tonight's massacre was just inexplicable. So, I think that Trump had his desired finalists on the other team (Geraldo, Leeza, Vivica) and decided to fire the entire team Infinity to not have to go through another task and risk team Infinity winning next week. He probably wanted Geraldo and Leeza, but mostly Geraldo, amongst the finalists since the beginning. It's been all too transparent this season. Even the things he says gives it away, like how last week he simply told Kate "It's your time" before he fired her. It's all pretty much rigged now.
It's such a shame too, since this was a pretty good cast once we got rid of the duds. They just want to crown Geraldo and be done with the franchise. It's been transparent, arbitrary, and semi-rigged for a while now. Remember Arsenio WINNING season five? That mess. The final two should've been Aubrey and Clay. And yet I keep watching...

Not "La Cucaracha" sending Ian home.

He could've fought Donald's argument. The original dates back to the Mexican Revolution, who the hell would he pay?
Vivica turned Donald into a stan. That's half of the battle right there. Seethe!

I think it was more so that Ian was difficult to work with, didn't have much faith in his team, and then sat there and said that his jingle could have won them the task when it was neither creative nor completely original. It wasn't mainly "La Cucaracha" that sent him packing.

That's the logical way of looking at it.

If NBC was never really interested in another season of CA, and IMO they weren't for some reason originally, there is every way Trump could have known at the time of filming such as "cut the amount of episodes."
I actually thought Brandi had gotten much stronger the last several episodes. Her management in the boat was perfect. It's arguable that her slogan in Johnny's mission was what birthed a winning mission - prompting the NY rising skyline idea. She IMO contributed close to nothing in the jingle mission though outside of telling Ian he needs to STFU with his stupid idea, she could have edited like Leeza did and made Johnny's jingle less wordy.
Ian deserved to be fired for thinking his jingle was a good idea to the point of nearly drooling to sing it to DT. Even if it's public domain it's far from the something original that the brand wanted.

But as a leader, Brandi's always seemed to be somewhat indecisive and defer more to her teammates' abilities than her own assets. In my opinion, she was never really that strong of a player. She was pretty average.
I totally agree regarding Ian.

Felt they owed it to Trump? an exec that likes Trump? A pick up agreement? Lots of reasons a network would put on something they don't really want to and everything about how they rolled out CA - until seeing nice ratings - said they weren't behind this season.
I definitely think Brandi finished stronger than she started, not weaker. Brandi was pretty useless as anything other than a worker bee until several episodes back. She's no Leeza - or even Kenya - but IMO she did start contributing and IMO she did show good leadership in the boat mission by shifting the theme and by managing Kenya really well. Leadership sometimes can be mainly about managing and editing. This mission, Brandi needed to be an editor - think if the lyrics were catchy or too wordy - and instead she was just letting Johnny do what he wanted with that jingle. Really any of them could have been fired for this one but it was nuts to fire all three. Ian was being distracting and the opposite of productive. Brandi didn't make the right editing decisions and couldn't control Ian. Johnny came up with the jingle.
