That's a pretty low number. And to think people tried to drag Rihanna and Katy when they had pretty solid numbers on a Thursday back in 2012 when it aired the same day as the Democratic National Convention.
The Britney fans wasn't THIS happy when they listened to their fav's lastest album for the first time and when the album first week's sale was released. But I'm sleep tho. At least I have a good live performance to watch.

Welp we knew this was going to happen. Other than Beyonce there was no real star power , no one worth tuning into watch or perform.
I was really interested to see Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea perform Anaconda and Black Widow respectively ! . The star power was there, besides you all tend to forget how everyone barely watches Live TV anymore or if they do is by live streams and they don't count for ratings .

Don't try it. That was the year the Presidential Debate was going on and don't EVEN pretend that this wasn't the most meaningful presidential election in the history of America. Even I was watching the debate and I love Rih. So don't even try it.
Not really. I mean clearly other factors were involved in the high ratings of Britney's 2012 vma appearance but the point remains that the ratings sucked this year and the hive is trying to justify them. like get over it the show flopped, accept it.

I don't get the point of everyone trying to prove their faves bring in all the ratings. I'm way more concerned with the quality of the performance and I rather have a good performance watched by 13 people than a crappy performance watched by 13 million people. And there's no need for the hive to be getting pressed over people saying Bey failed to bring in ratings because even if that's true she delivered an amazing performance which is more important to the GP
Why is this such a big deal? Did most of y'all forget some of your faves were there? Bey's album is sitting in the top 10 and 20 on Itunes in countries around the world. Who gives a damn about ratings?
