Hilary doesnt need them. But Timbaland has contacted her to be on his next album, so we'll see how that goes. Anyways, Timabaland still isnt confirmed for Vanessa's album yet.

^Anybody could use great producers for an album.
And I'm just surprised that V is getting all these producers when Hilary is the top seller on Hollywood Records and has never gotten so many good producers for one album.

And Vanessa and Timbaland is basically confirmed.
I know Hollywood Records told me they MIGHT work together but she pushed back the album release + is gonna record through the Spring instead of just through February like originally planned so it's most likely gonna happen.

Hmmm, let me think? Hilary's also never been one to follow the crowd & work with whoever everyone else works with. That's very admirable, IMO. Not saying that Vanessa is the same way, but Hilary's been offered twice to work with Timbaland & turned both of them down, due to scheduling conflicts. They're also trying to make Vanessa go for a more R&B sound. Hilary hasn't gone to that genre yet. If she does for her next album, we'll see who she works with. Hopefully she keeps doing what she wants to do rather than follow the trend.

But anyway, good luck to Vanessa. A Timbaland track would help sales. Oh & let's not forget The Jonas Brothers worked with Timbaland at the end of last year as well.

^LOL. My comment obviously got Hilary Duff fans mad which wasn't my intention AT ALL.
I was actually trying to imply that Hilary should have been hooked up with huge producers from the jump, I mean afterall 'Metamorphosis' is still Hollywood Records' highest selling album.
But they continue to treat Hilary like ****. I wasn't tryna talk down on Hilary if thats what you and terrellezell thought.

And I understand that Vanessa is going the R&B route and that's why she's being hooked up with hip-hop producers but thier are alot of great pop producers HR could have hooked Hilary up with but they didn't.
I just found it strange a CHEAP LABEL like Hollywood would actually pay for JR Rotem, Sean Garrett, & Timbaland just for Vanessa's album.

Just saying that Vanessa was not the first to work with him from Hollywood. I'll be interested in hearing how both songs sound. If the Vanessa thing does in fact happen, which for her sake, I hope does. She deserves success.

Exciting but i think this will be pushed cause June 24th(I think!) is when Beyonce will release her country album

Not necessarily...there really is no telling. While Beyonce has some fans that will buy her albums just because she is Beyonce, there might be some fans out there that will only buy the album if they like it. Since Beyonce is doing a new genre of music for this album, there is no telling what people are going to say. I do have a feeling that Beyonce is going to go #1 but I don't think she is going to do her regular numbers. She's going to have to get a crossover hit on country and pop radio to do well. I think some people might be a little hesitant to buy this album until they hear whats on it. I think she'll go high, but not as high as her usual numbers.

I think Hollywood Records is just looking for Vanessa to debut very high on the Billboard 200 and with the Jonas Brothers releasing their album on July 8th (2 weeks after Vanessa) she will hopefully remain very high on the Billboard list for a while. Most of the big names that are singing music that is similar to Vanessa's music are releasing in the spring. Her first album debuted at #24, so I think Hollywood Records would be satisifed with a top 10 debut. But with the date they chose I think they are looking at a top 5 debut. Debuting high the first week is more about how much people are anticipating your album. I would rather have Vanessa with an album that debuts in the top 10 that has some legs.
