The bug-chaster posts are 1000000000000000x more disturbing than any paranormal **** or demons posted about in this thread. That is truly, truly, ****ed up. It's not fun to read like the other stuff, it's just evil.

The first one started one day when I was taking a shower. I turned around to pickup a shampoo bottle that was completely laying flat instead of standing up like normal. As I turned around the bottle stood straight up on its own. I freaked out and got out really quickly and was scared to take a shower for like 3 days . Not long after that incident, it was summer time and I am often up late in the summer time, like 2-3am usually. Usually between 2-3 is when weird stuff would happen in my house. Like I would have headphones and other objects in the middle of my bed. Not even dangling at all or even close to the edge of my bed and randomly I'd just watch as they would look like they were pulled off the bed onto the floor. Also randomly in the middle of the night because I have a niece and nephew who were younger at the time, there were toys around the house. They are motion activated, and in the middle of the night sometimes I would just hear them go off when nobody else was awake. Finally one day I thought I saw a man walking upstairs in my house in my peripherals but when I actually looked no one was there. So finally I told my dad about everything and he told me that the family that lived in the house before us had an older man that fell down the stairs and died in our house My sister also took a picture with what looks like a ghost face in it Beyond that he never does anything but its still scary.
The second story is much scarier but I did not experience it first hand. My older sister at the time was moved out into her boyfriend (now husbands) parents basement. The basement was huge so it was basically another house underneath their house. The families grandfather passed away in the basement. The first thing they often experienced was doors slamming randomly. Such as one would be napping and they would hear a door open and slam super hard and ask if the other was home to which they got no response. Sometimes one would hear someone talking to themselves in another room, and they would go check in the room seeing if it was like her boyfriends mom and dad or something doing something, and no one would be in the room. Next I guess one time my sisters boyfriend woke up in the middle of the night to see their alarm clock floating a few feet above where it normally stands and it flew across the room and broke and also my sister said one time she woke up in the middle of the night and she thought she felt another precence in the room, and all of a sudden something in the room screamed "GET OUT" She said she hid under the covers the rest of the night . Sometimes they reported also thinking they saw someone crossing between rooms in their peripherals only to look and not see anything. The final thing that happened though that basically made them look for another place was one morning her boyfriend woke up with 3 big scratches along the side of his torso with no report of them before going to bed that night. They moved out and now live in a lovely house and such but I guess no one in their family will go down there anymore or stay there for the night. Nothing happens in the non basement part of the house but that is some real paranormal activity stuff. Normally to me that stuff is interesting but a little farfetched to me, but seriously if you ask either of them about it they are genuinely scared and the rest of the family also says it has a terrifying feeling when going down there.

Not a story, but I suffer from sleep paralysis. That **** is scary even though it last 2-3 minutes.

Justed watched Cocaine Cowboys on Netflix. It's a great documentary that gave me a lot of chills (not for the faint of heart). Not just the gory footage, but the interviews from Rivi and other drug lords about how much of a sociopath Griselda Blanco was.
Her boasting about dismembering a body and dumping the remains in a cardboard box right before visiting Rivi
The fact that she shrugged off the death of a 2-year-old like it was nothing
Her ordering a hit on Alfredo Lorenzo's family (including the children), police finding the children playing with their mother's corpse, and the fact that Blanco was pissed that Rivi and her other hitmen didn't kill the children is just
This clip isn't from the film (it's the sequel actually) but it nonetheless show how disturbing Blanco was
Truly disgusting slime
Edit: apparently she was killed in 2012. GOOD. Karma is truly a bitch.

My stories aren't anything special compared to a lot of posts in here, but a few years ago my mom used to have these recurring dreams of a woman with long black hair and pale white skin who would sit in the corner of her side of the bed and just stare at her or hover over her. My dad would wake her up from time to time because she kept struggling around in her sleep. My mom is a Christian (not overly religious) so whenever she has bad dreams she recites a verse from the bible that helps her feel better and stops bad dreams from her experience. But whenever this woman appeared she could never speak or say anything and the woman would try to cover her mouth if she attempted to speak. A few days later my mom asked me what I was doing up all night instead of being asleep because she heard someone walking down the steps and moving the chairs in the kitchen and assumed it was me but I had gone to bed early the night before and told her I wasn't up at all. Anyways, we ended up moving to a bigger house a few months later (not because of her dreams) and a few weeks later my mom went back to our old neighborhood to visit our neighbor who she was friends with and her friend told her that she'd been having dreams about a woman with long black hair and pale skin who kept sitting beside her and attempting to cover her mouth (she lived alone so I felt for the poor woman) and then they both got so deep in a conversation about the woman trying to figure out what it could be about or who it was. And my mom is Japanese so I wasn't here for her The Grudge era. But since we've moved she hasn't had any dreams related to that woman and there hasn't been any random moving of chairs at night.
The only time I've ever experienced something "creepy" myself was this summer. I would stay up until about 2-3AM with my younger brother and we'd watch movies and I usually have all lights off because I hate wasting energy and we were in the living room at around 2:50-ish when suddenly we hear very soft knocking on the door followed by the door knob being moved around violently and I saw a shadow next to the window and I turned off my computer screen so fast and pushed my brother out of the way and hid behind the book shelf xo. But nothing happened after that until a few days later when it happened to my brother when he was alone, but luckily he was with our dog at the time and our dog will bark at the door the moment he feels somebody approaching our house, so I'm guessing he scared whoever it was and nothing ever happened again after that. And this was when I'd play 5 Nights At Freddy's so I was PETRIFIED.

It's starting again I just came back from my holiday last night, woke up not too long ago and was cleaning the living room cuz it was quite dusty and all of a sudden I hear a loud bang somewhere in the house, so I start inspecting the rooms to see what fell, it was the shower head and it had gone on on its own, cuz the wall/floor in the shower was wet, when there had been no one home for quite some time and I hadn't been in there yet

Omg so happy/scared I found this thread. I love stories like this, but the ones that really freak me out involve real people, like serial killers or whatever, cos that stuff has a higher chance of happening to us.
I guess you could say we are the real monsters

Probably like 7 years ago now, my parents and I had come back from going out to a restaurant in the evening. I had like a really uncomfortable and unnerving feeling about going into our house and it wasn't helped by the fact my parents thought they'd turned the lights off inside so were surprised to see they were on. The burglar alarm started beeping as it normally does when you enter the house, so no one had broken in but I still felt really scared for some reason.
I went to go upstairs to use the bathroom, scared I opened the bathroom door and put the light on and then screamed and ran out to my parents who were now upstairs too, like "there's something in there!" But there was nothing. To this day I know I hadn't seen anything and but I can't explain why I ran out screaming as though there was something there.

Mess at that video, if I caught ha thief ass stealing milk away from my fridge at night I would delete her fat. Or better, I would let the bitch come back to where she was hiding and lock her there a few days while blasting ARTPOP before calling the cops.

I've always had a subconscious fear of stuff like this because I once watched a clip of a scary movie, where some kid woke up in the middle of the night to find a man staring over him
in a situation like this:
and I've always had that subconscious fear of something like this happening when I go to sleep from things crawling from my vents.

Do any of yall listen to the Sword and Scale podcast? It's so good.
It's a true crime podcast, nothing really supernatural, but it's amazing. I binged this month. It has me so paranoid of people. Humans are truly twisted.
