I think ARTPOP deserves the same score as TFM at the least. The album is just as good as TFM from an objective point of view. In my personal point of view, it's better and deserves 80+.

For those who wonder why some drag others for not liking this album compared to earlier albums, I'd have to say that it has everything to do with the vast difference between Born This Way and ARTPOP. Considering ARTPOP was what many folks wanted instead of BTW when it came out, of course they'd be upset when critics preferred BTW over ARTPOP.

You're not giving Gaga enough credit. Her promotion this era is much better handled than BTW's promo. It's well thought out and not in-your-face. And shut the f**k up about The Fame Monster for god's sake. It's nothing special. I can understand people who can see the flaws in ARTPOP but I can't stand Monsters that won't let go of the world's most overrated 8-track EP.

And if you'd actually take the time to read the reviews, they mostly focus on her career and not the actual music. So you have no right to say that the error in all of this is due to the album itself.

And she has learned, sis. She gave us a radio-friendly lead single (that is still on power rotation on radio, mind you). The whole fixing-her-image-from-the-BTW-era thing is not going to happen overnight.

But I'll just wait because you'll probably just change your opinion if the album sells well or if it gets a better score. Ch.

There's no perfect album. But I wouldn't be mad if the production was stronger and the songs were more anthemic. I wouldn't change one bit of Sexxxx Dreams and Manicure+I would fired Zedd and Madeon cause their songs happen to be the worst on the album. I would at least make sure to secure 4 strong hits to keep the album going, but that's just me!

It's a bad album because of DJWS and his lack of creativity. The album is okay and has a few Jams but overall his production is very lack luster along with gagas vocals. There's no growth in them. The only time where I actually like her vocals is in MANiCURE and maybe donatella that's it. If the album had more Auras in it then maybe I would like it. Overall Applause had the best production and I can see why they chose it as the first single- that says a lot about the rest of the album. Mjh remains flawless tho. The only good single choices are G.U.Y. And Gypsy.

DWUW is better than all of Madeon and Zedd tracks, actually is the best song in the album, better than all of em!
