I liked I Am Me and Autobiography's album tracks! Her singles aren't as good as the album tracks. She doesn't really have a good voice, but she has catchy songs.
I wasn't being desperate, I was stating my opinion. I'm not going to buy albums from a person like Britney and I know hundreds of people who won't either. Okay, so Britney won't flop like Paris did. I'll give her that. But please do not ever call me desperate again.
I love how a lot of you say that you love Ashlee and then turn around and go around and say her album's gonna flop. There have only been TWO FREAKING SONGS LEAKED. Plus they were not even supposed to be leaked. We don't even know if they'll be on her album for sure. You don't like the songs? FINE. But don't go counting her out for songs of hers that weren't supposed to be available to the public. Be good Ashlee fans and wait for Ashlee to release her single on her own terms.

that's what I thought with her second album cause of the lipsynching incident...but what happened? It became a hit...and how come you could say that people dont have interest in her anymore?
^I'm guessing you are an Elliott fan... Right?? I met him yesterday, got a picture with him, and an autograph. Along with lots of pictures of him performing! I just had to tell someone that. I already posted about meeting Aly & AJ on their forum, so I had to get out that I met Elliott too.

I don't like the 2 songs I heard from Ashlee so far but I am not giving up on her. Like you said, we don't even know if those songs will even make it on the album. Besides, even if I don't care for her new single I will still buy her album because I will always be an Ashlee fan.
The thing is I don't like the new sound any more than most of you. But her new sound is very radio friendly and it's the type of crap that really sells well. So I think Ashlee will gain a lot more fans than what she will lose.
But I almost think she would have been more successful if she would have come out with more of a rocking sound. I know it's been mixed reaction so far...people on the Ashley Tisdale forums love the new Ashlee songs while Veronicas fans mostly hate it. But the problem is most Veronicas fans already hated Ashlee anyway.
Out of the Ashlee fans I know the reaction is mixed. My own feeling is these songs are as bad as Britney's new songs. The only difference is the crap that Britney is doing will work for her because it's the same style of music she's always done.
I am really disappointed in Ashlee's new sound and the worst part about everything is Ashlee needed a successful album to keep her career going. Basically this was her one last chance to make it and I am almost thinking because of her dramatic change in sound she has blown it.
I like Ashlee But say everybody like Ashlee has good taste is too much.
I didn't say everybody that likes Ashlee has good taste. But in my mind, they do.
I said they had good taste because I persoanlly think the two songs are good.
