Sign o the Times is the best R&B album of all time and the best album from the 80s. Purple Rain is also better than Thriller though!

2. Diamonds ; this topped R&B/Hip-Hop for 14 weeks; clearly not Hip-Hop so guess the genre.

3. Numb (feat. Eminem) ; Eminem gives it an urban side, would be R&B if Ciara or any other R&B gerls did it. Also charted on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop.

4. Pour It Up ; Clearly R&B/Hip-Hop she's singing the whole time so I would count as R&B.

5. What Now ; If sung by Keyshia/Ciara/etc it would be couted as R&B, also charted on UK R&B.

6. Nobody's Business ; Chris Brown an R&B singer, and Rihanna doing R&B.

7. Get It Over With ; OBVIOUS R&B Ballad.

Gangnam Style is Rap, but it isn't Hip Hop. That's why it charted on Rap but not Hip Hop/R&B. It contains rapping style, but the style of music isn't hip hop in the slightest.

You can't dismiss every Billboard labeling of songs. It's not like they're always wrong.

It's not like ATRL is the textbook definition of what R&B is. Most here don't even listen to R&B, think every R&B song is boring, or that Beyonce and Usher are the end-all be-all of R&B music.

With all of that said, I don't even see why Unapologetic would be considered anyway, for quality purposes.
